In July we launched a new customer portal that allows users to configure all of their services with us in one place (CDN, WAF, DNS, and Monitoring). The project involved combining many different data sources including some existing systems and some that were brand new. One of our engineers, Thomas Ladd, recently wrote a guest blog post for the JS Foundation titled "Graphql, gRPC, and End-to-End Type Coverage" that walks through how we chose the tools we did, how we implemented them, and what the results have been so far.
At StackPath we are committed to supporting the open source ecosystem. We use a wide variety of open source software across our stack, and we recognize that helping build a sustainable open source community isn't just the right thing to do, it’s also good for business.
We encourage our engineers to contribute back to the tools that we use and are working on rolling out a plan to make that even easier. This coming year we will make a major push towards getting even more involved. We sponsor and support open source maintainers and projects in a number of ways, including donating platform services. Learn about the open source projects we support here.
We are happy to support the JS Foundation in their efforts to shepherd projects toward broad adoption and sustainability. We hope you enjoy Thomas' post and encourage all of our readers to support the open source community.
